With its striking, honey-coloured stone set against the deepest Mediterraneum blues, Malta offers an eclectic mix of influences, whilst retaining a unique identity. The History of Malta is a long and colouful onedating back to the dawn of civilisation. The Islands went through a golden Neolithic period and later on the Romans, Arabs, Normans, French and English all left their traces. The Maltese Islandsare steeped in culture and heritage of great variety including magnificent architecture, sacred art treasures, remains of Roman Villas and traces of prehistoric Man.

We shall visit Valetta its fortress and Cathedral and the Fine Arts Museum. On day 2 we focus on Malta's temples, and on Day 3 visit Gozo. Day 4 Hal Saflieni Hypogeum prehistoic burial site and on Day 5 Malta's ancient Capital city, before our flight home. Full details and how to apply click here.

Our hotel is at the Rambla Bay Resort looking seewards towards Gozo. Seaview Rooms do carry a supplement. There are lovely gardens, two seasonal outdoor seawater pools and a private sandy beach. We shall be staying half board, so evening meals are included
